Here is some information about me.For about 40 years now, I have been an avid fisherman, mostly spinning reel. Several years ago, I got a fly fishing rod as a Christmas gift. Now that I had a fly rod, I needed to try it out. My brother and I went on our first fly fishing weekend trip. Needless to say, it was a great trip. Now, I wanted to get serious about fly fishing so I needed to get familiar with a whole new line of fishing gear, not to mention some new fishing terminology. I spent a lot of hours researching and getting familiar with the new gear and learning as much as I could about fly fishing. That is one of the reasons that I put this site together, to help fly fisherman gather information quickly and easily. I hope you find it informative and useful. It is a work in progress. I am constantly adding and updating information as I find it.
